In our quest for a better laundry option and something that is safe for Cloth Diapers we have now tried Crunchy Clean in green formula and Cloth Diaper Formula. Trevor and I agree that it is amazing. Using that along with some calgon and our clothes are cleaner and softer than ever. Last night I washed one of Jareds shirts that I thought had a lost cause stain on it. When it came out of the dryer I was in shock. I ran to Trevor and had him double check for me, it was gone. The dark purple, who knows what the heck it really was, stain is missing from his white shirt. Hurray!! I am prepping my Cloth Diapers right now using the Diaper version. One of the covers that had an awful pee stain from front to back has washed out also after 1 time thru. This makes me so giddy it cant be normal.
We have pink sugar for our regular clothes and monkey farts for diapers. Trevor and Jared like the sugar better, but I am a fan of the Monkey farts.

Bulk Baking
Today Jared and I worked hard on some bulk baking. We started with the foods at the lowest temp and kept going up till everything was cooked. For the record we made a turkey breast, green bean casserole (which Jared made by himself), candied yams, and a lasagna. There are a few reasons for cooking this way. First, we only had to heat the oven once and up the temp as needed instead of using extra electricity pre-heating it for each meal. Second, today was a good day of being pregnant and we made the most of it by cooking meals for a few days. This will help on the days that going into the kitchen or smelling food makes me want to cry and reach for the trash can again. Having the food in the frig already will reduce the " There is nothing to eat" comments, and become some nice warm lunches on these last few cooler days. The turkey is a two-fold meal also, it will be reborn into turkey tetrazzini in the next few days. Jared is excited since it has turkey, noodles and mushrooms. The day Jared started like mushrooms sure made cooking much easier.
We had planned on making a few other items too, but I reached a point where couldn't stand up much longer. On a side note, its funny that when we make a ton of stuff or just one meal, there always seems to be the same amount of dirty dishes in the end.
Bulk baking, great for the environment (using less power), and our pocket book ( less chance of eating out).
